 The Art of Fragrance

With all forms of art, the sources of inspiration are many and varied. With fragrance the perfumer works with ingredients drawn from nature and science, bringing them together with the power to stir emotions, to pleasure the senses, to elevate mood and evoke memories.

Floris of London (established 1730) - Floris founder Juan Famenias Floris and his wife Elizabeth began selling perfume, combs and shaving products in the elegant quarter of London’s St James. The Floris shop they opened at 89 Jermyn Street remains the heart of the business and is still run by their descendants today.

Penhaligon's (established 1870) - understand the emotive power of scent. It can unlock memories and open doors; it can stop us in our tracks, lost somewhere for a moment in time. Recollections triggered by a dusting or iris, a whisper of clove, a burst of juicy nectarine, a trail of smoky incense, a creamy lick of vanilla. Penhaligon's fragrant adventure began in the Victorian England of 1870, an era of decadence and carries us into the future as they strive to create original scents for the discerning eccentrics of today. True modern men and women who are proud to go their own way. .

Miller et Bertaux (established in 1985.) - is a Parisian design house based in the Maris. Their perfume line is unique by design of package and of fragrant compositions; sophisticated, posh, chic and poetic. Designer Miller et Bertaux has 10 perfumes in their fragrance base.
